News of the Week
Hey there Anton High! Welcome back to school! We hope this semester will be just as great as last semester! This semester is going to be a busy one. The FCCLA star event people are working super-duper hard on their projects. Our regional meeting is scheduled to be on February 12th-13th.

One of our fellow FCCLA star event groups is working to make our school and community a little GREENER!! So we’re going to give the mic to them for a minute.

“Hey People! We are in the process of starting a recycling program! We are going to put boxes labeled paper, plastic, and soda cans in front of the school and we are in desperate need of your help!!!! Do when you get finished with that water bottle or you want to hide a bad grade from your parents or when you’re done drinking that soda, just drop it off in one of the bins in the front! Thanks!”—Jackie Taylor

     GO GREEN WITH FCCLA!

Hanna and Cheyenna are working on “looking in the eyes of alcohol!” They are doing a power point about how children with alcoholic parents are affected.

Josh, Stephanie, and Ashley are working on promoting and publicizing FCCLA! They are going to host a Senior Citizens party night at the Senior Citizen Building on February 6th starting at 4:30-6:30.
They can only be 60-up so if you have any grandparents that age please invite them. They will have lots of fun.

Student Council and the FCCLA members that have signed up to go to the summit will be on January 27th. Hopefully you have signed up because it will be a great experience!

The girls’ district games started last week against Ralls and Crosbyton. They had 2 great victories over both teams.  They play Lockney tonight so come out and support your Lady Dawgs!!!

The boys’ district starts tonight against Lockney. The varsity games start at 6:30 so come out and support your Anton Bulldogs and Lady Dawgs!!

      Good Luck to both teams!!
