Football Season Comes to a Close

The Anton Bulldogs football season came to a close on Friday night with a 75-44 loss to the Borden County Coyotes in the Bi-District Championship game. The Bulldogs kept it close in the first half with a shutout first quarter and went into halftime trailing by only 6. Amparo Shines at State Cross Country Meet

Anton High School's state qualifier, Amparo placed 34th with a time of 13:44:55. She said, "The meet was fun and a great experience. I can't wait to go back next year with the team." Coach Martin added, "I am very proud of Amparo, and next year we are going back on bus." Both had fun, but would like to compete with the whole team next year. Congratulations Amparo!!!
