"State'ing On Track"

They have done it again! Your Anton Bulldogs and Lady Dogs are going to State in track. Because of our talent we are taking ten girls and one boy to the State Track meet in Austin, Texas! The whole team has put in so much effort and it shows because they have come out on top so far. AHS Bulldog Band 2011-2013 Trip

April 26th-28th our Bulldog Band traveled to San Antonio to enjoy our Band Trip! While staying at the Marriot Hotel, we visited the RiverWalk and enjoyed some crazy coasters at Six Flags. Anton FCCLA Competed at State STAR Event Competitions

April 10th- 14th Shayna Fleming, Cheyenna Martinez, April Narbaez, Jesus Gonzales, Ashlee Jackson, and Mrs. Nancy Moore, attended the 2012-2013 FCCLA STAR Event Competitions. They had worked hard to get here, placing high enough in Regionals to travel to Dallas for the State Level. It took dedication and leadership to get there. April Narbaez ran for a National and State Office (she was a State Officer throughout this year) and made State Vice President of Service Learning. April is the first person from Anton to be an FCCLA State Officer and we are very proud of her. Jesus, Cheyenna, Shayna, and Ashlee competed in STAR Events. Jesus and Cheyenna performed in Job Interview, Shayna in Promote and Publicize FCCLA, and Ashlee in Illustrated Talk. Cheyenna and Shayna placed high enough to walk the stage and earn plaques. This is the first time in several years an Anton FCCLA Member has scored high enough to walk the stage. Cheyenna placed 4th in Job Interview. Shayna placed 3rd in Promote and Publicize FCCLA. We would like to thank Mrs. Moore for all her hard work and dedication to our FCCLA Chapter.
